Summer: Watching the Storm...
It has been so hot here in Melbourne, days upon days of temperatures above 30C. I love the warm weather, but it does make everyone tierd when you dont get that cool brake (and you dont have aircon). Thursday evening a storm rolled over Melbourne. Bliss. I love tropical storms. Thunder and Lightning, Rain and Hail. Summer was very excited to watch with Daddy. "Thunder noisy! bang! Lights!"
(apoliges photo not the best quality, captured on my mobile but it was such a moment i had to get)
Lily: Hail gone, Rain eased, Lily couldnt wait to get out and play!

We have a few of them up our way. I love good storm. How did Summer and Lily cope with the thunder? Mine get a bit scared and somehow turn into velcro children.
ReplyDeleteSo refreshing after a heatwave. The girls suprisingly dont mind the thunder. Summer is my velcro child and the last one i would expect to enjoy a storm. But she loves to watch the rain, and always is excited by the thunder telling me how noisy it is.
ReplyDeleteYour pics are beautiful by the way! My girls are chalk and cheese too, i love it :)
